Stay For A Nightcap! Rascally Rasmus Edition

Notables:

-Colby Rasmus went 4-for-4 with two home runs, three runs and four RBI.  I'm guessing we haven't come close to seeing the ceiling here.

-Johnny Damon went 4-for-4 with two runs and an RBI.  Is he that far behind Jeter on the Boston hate list?

-Rick Porcello went eight innings giving up three runs to lower his ERA to 5.10.  What do you make of him next year; he'll only be 22 to start the season.

-Andre Ethier had a 1.000 OBP day with a two-run homer in the Dodger loss.

-Troy Tulowitzki hit his 18th homer.  This is six homers in his last seven games.  One might say he's hot.

-Does anyone else have the feeling Colorado is going to pull this out somehow?

Save Chances:

-Ryan Perry, converted.  One inning, one walk, no runs.  Think Dan Bard-lite here.

-Neftali Feliz, converted.  One inning, one strikeout, save 35.

-Brandon Lyon, converted.  Has anyone been mentioning that he has a two-year deal and Matt Lindstrom only a one-year deal?

-Huston Street, converted.  Allowed a hit and struck out the side.

Other Closer Outings:

-No, (kind of yes he's the closer?) Jonathan Broxton threw a scoreless seventh, although he was wild giving up two walks.

Non-Closer Outings:

-Kenley Jansen threw a scoreless inning with two Ks.  Didn't I mention him…weeks ago?!?  His ERA is 1.02.

-Craig Kimbrel struck out two over an inning of work to lower his ERA to 0.87.  Possible Atlanta closer next season?

-Aroldis Chapman threw another scoreless outing with a walk and a K.

Tough Days:

-Jair Jurrjens gave up seven runs over 3.2 innings.  Need I say more?

-Jon Garland gave up three homers (at home of all places) en route to six earned over five innings.

Injuries/Lineup-ology:

-Placido Polanco has a broken elbow that will likely require surgery.  For time being he will attempt to play through it and address it in the offseason.

-Brad Lidge should be available on Friday.

-Michael Bourn and Adam Lind got the day off on Thursday.

-Jeff Francis will start on Monday for the Rockies.

-Jason Heyward left Thursday's game as part of a double switch.  There was no health-related reason for his early exit.

Stolen Bases:

-David Murphy (12), Hunter Pence (18), Brandon Phillips (15), Chris Nelson (1, home, won the game), Freddy Sanchez (3)

Caught Stealing:

-Travis Snider (3), Jason Bourgeois (3)

Home Runs:

Alex Rios (21), Jose Bautista (44), Lyle Overbay (18), Andre Ethier (21), Chris Johnson (8), Colby Rasmus 2 (21), Skip Schumaker (5), Albert Pujols (37), Derrek Lee (17), Drew Stubbs (16), Jason Giambi (5), Aubrey Huff (24), Pat Burrell (17), Buster Posey (12), Juan Uribe (20), Ryan Ludwick (15), Will Venable (12)
