Football Outsiders Bullish on the Chargers

I actually found this prediction linked on John Cole's political blog. Apparently FO loves the Chargers, projecting them for 12.5 wins and calling them the "prohibitive favorites" to win Super Bowl XLIV.

The Chargers do benefit from playing in what looks like a weak division, and getting a healthy Marcus McNeill and Shawne Merriman should improve them significantly. Vegas apparently disagrees - or at least believes the public won't see it that way - setting the O/U at 9.5.

I wouldn't go as far as F.O., but I'm with them on the over.
