FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

After blowing out the Rockets in Game 3, the Warriors will look to take a 3-1 series lead Tuesday before the series shifts back to Houston. We've also got another opportunity to win some money with FanDuel's single game contest, so here are some players to target for your entry.

MVP Candidates

James Harden, HOU ($17,000): Not much went right for the Rockets on Sunday, but Harden still scored 41.5 FanDuel points. After leading the league with a 36.3% usage rate during the regular season, he's continued to carry the Rockets offensively with a 36.6% usage rate in the playoffs. He has been the highest-priced option throughout this series, but he also has one of the highest upsides.

Kevin Durant, GS ($16,000): After scoring at least 37 points in both of the first two games, Durant followed up with a 25 point performance in Game 3. He finally started to contribute in other areas as well with six rebounds and six assists, resulting in 44.2 FanDuel points. He has scored at least 41.8 FanDuel points in all but two games during the Warriors playoff run and should have a high floor again Tuesday.

Star and Pro Candidates

Stephen Curry, GS ($15,000): All it took was a return to Oracle Arena to get Curry back in his offensive groove, finishing with 35 points in Game 3. He dished out only one assist, but still managed to score 45.7 FanDuel points. There are few players in the league who can put up points like Curry when he is hot, leaving him with excellent upside. Make sure to take advantage by adding him to one of your multiplier spots.

Draymond Green, GS ($13,500): Green had been relatively quiet in the first two games, scoring 38.3 and 30.2 FanDuel points, respectively. That changed in Game 3, scoring 10 points to go along with 17 rebounds and six assists on his way to 47.4 FanDuel points. He doesn't need to score a lot to provide value, especially when you combine his rebounds and assists with his defensive stats. He has six steals and five blocks combined in this series.

Utility

Kevon Looney, GS ($7,500): It's certainly not stellar production, but Looney has scored at least 10.3 FanDuel points in all three games against the Rockets. He played 25 minutes in Game 1, but only played 25 minutes combined over the last two games. With Andre Iguodala (knee) listed as doubtful for Game 4, there is the possibility that Looney could see some extra playing time. You'll have to take some chances on really cheap players to get the studs into your multiplier spots, leaving Looney as a viable option.

Shaun Livingston, GS ($6,500): Livingston is another player who could see added minutes if Iguodala is ultimately unable to play. Like Looney, he doesn't have a ton of upside, but he has scored at least 13 FanDuel points in two of three games. If you take a chance on him at this cheap price, it does open up a lot of great possibilities for your entry.
