DraftKings NBA: Monday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Monday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

The NBA playoffs bring a quiet night Monday with only two games on the schedule. There are limited options to pick from on DraftKings as a result, but that doesn't mean you can't come away a winner. Here are some players with favorable matchups who could help you bring home some cash.

Guards

Donovan Mitchell, UTA vs. OKC ($7,800): Mitchell has played extremely well in his first taste of the playoffs, scoring at least 38.5 DraftKings points in each of the first three games. Not only is he the offensive leader for the Jazz, but he grabbed at least 10 rebounds in two of those three contests. He'll have a high usage rate again Monday, making him an excellent option for your entry.

Jeff Teague, MIN vs. HOU ($6,400): Teague only played 19 minutes in the Timberwolves blowout loss in Game 2, but he scored at least 40.3 DraftKings points in both of the other two games in this series. He's got a tough defensive matchup against Chris Paul, but he's going to get plenty of playing time as long as the game stays close. At this reasonable price, he could provide significant value Monday.

Derrick Rose, MIN vs. HOU ($3,800): Timberwolves coach Tom Thibodeau has turned to his former star point guard when they were both in Chicago to provide a spark off the bench in this series. Rose has averaged 21 minutes per game in the playoffs, scoring at least 24 DraftKings points in two of the three games. His upside is limited as he won't provide much in the way of rebounds or assists, but he's still worth considering in tournament play at this cheap price.

Forwards

Paul George, OKC at UTA ($7,600): George only scored 34 DraftKings points in Game 3, but that was because he only had two rebounds and three assists. He still finished the contest with 23 points and is averaging 19 shot attempts per game in the series. It's not often that he only grabs two rebounds in a game, especially with the Thunder's lack of size up front. This is the cheapest he has been priced on DraftKings this series, which only helps with his value.

Carmelo Anthony, OKC at UTA ($5,600): Anthony is not having a great series offensively, shooting just 41.2% from the field. Clearly the third wheel behind George and Russell Westbrook, the Thunder still rely on him heavily based on their lack of depth on the roster. He'll get a ton of minutes again in Game 4, leaving him someone to consider for your entry.

Corey Brewer, OKC at UTA ($4,400): Completing the trio of viable Thunder players at the forward position, Brewer has scored at least 22 DraftKings points in back-to-back games. He's not going to get many shot attempts, but the Thunder need his defense and don't have many great options behind him. With cost-effective players that have value hard to come by in such a small slate, Brewer's minutes floor makes him just that.

Centers

Rudy Gobert, UTA vs. OKC ($6,900): The Jazz's size up front has proven to be troublesome for the Thunder in this series. Gobert has led the charge, scoring at least 41 DraftKings points in back-to-back games. Gobert doesn't always need to score a lot to provide value, averaging 11.3 rebounds, two blocks and one steal per contest. Look for him to have another big performance as the Jazz look to take a commanding 3-1 series lead Monday.

Steven Adams, OKC at UTA ($5,200): Adams has been in foul trouble the last two games, which prevented him from playing more than 26 minutes in either contest. It's no coincidence that the Thunder lost both of those games as they really don't have any depth behind Adams. His production has been limited as a result, but it's also helped to reduce his price tag. If he can avoid foul trouble, he could out produce this price point.
