DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Tuesday brings seven games in the NBA, six of which make up the main slate on DraftKings. The evening is highlighted by the Rockets taking on the Trail Blazers in a battle of two of the hottest teams in the league. There is plenty of star power to select from for your entry, but let's look at some players at various prices who could help make you a winner.

Guards

Jrue Holiday, NO vs. DAL ($8,200): Holiday had a bad game Sunday against the Celtics, scoring only 18.3 DraftKings points. That certainly hasn't been the norm for Holiday, who had scored at least 45.5 DraftKings points in four straight contests. He played only 28 minutes in a lopsided victory, so don't read too much into one bad game. He scored 44.8 DraftKings points in his last matchup against the Mavericks earlier this month and should be in line for a rebound performance Tuesday.

Jeff Teague, MIN vs. LAC ($6,400): Teague has provided consistent production, scoring at least 30.8 DraftKings points in 12 of his last 13 games. His usage rate is 21.9% in March, the highest of any month this season. Add that to the fact that the Clippers play at the sixth-fastest pace (101.2 possessions per game) in the league and Teague should have plenty of opportunities to provide value at this reasonable price.

Yogi Ferrell, DAL at NO ($5,300): The Mavericks are running out of guards with Wesley Matthews (leg) out for the season and Dennis Smith Jr. (ankle) now slated to miss multiple games. J.J. Barea (ribs) did not play Saturday either and is questionable for Tuesday. Ferrell logged 32 minutes due to all of their injuries Saturday against the Nets, finishing with 38.3 DraftKings points. With a larger role likely on tap against a Pelicans team that struggles on defense, Ferrell could provide significant value.

Forwards

Blake Griffin, DET at PHO ($8,500): The Pistons are not playing well, but Griffin has scored at least 40.5 DraftKings points in seven of his last nine games. He's filled up the stat sheet across the board, recording at least six rebounds and six assists in four of his last five contests. Tuesday brings a matchup against the Suns, who play at the second-fastest pace (102.8) and allow the most points per game (113.9) in the league. Griffin could be in line for a monster performance.

Josh Jackson, PHO vs. DET ($6,300): Jackson normally produces when he gets extended playing time, scoring at least 33.8 DraftKings points in each of the last five games that he has logged at least 30 minutes. The Suns could be shorthanded Tuesday with T.J. Warren (knee) doubtful and Devin Booker (hand) questionable, which would leave plenty of playing time for Jackson. If they both don't play, Jackson has a strong chance to out produce his price point.

Stanley Johnson, DET at PHO ($3,800): Johnson moved back into the starting lineup Monday against the Kings, scoring 24 DraftKings points in 25 minutes. He had played 17 minutes or less in both of his two previous games off the bench, so the move into the starting five paid immediate dividends. With the Suns struggles on defense, Johnson might be worth the risk in tournament play at this cheap price.

Centers

Rudy Gobert, UTA vs. ATL ($8,400): Gobert is leading the charge for the Jazz to make the playoffs, scoring at least 42.5 DraftKings points in eight of his last nine games. Not only did he record a double-double in each of those eight contests, but he also scored at least 21 points six times. The Hawks allow the third-most DraftKings points per game (54.2) to opposing centers, making Gobert an excellent option to consider for your entry.

Steven Adams, OKC at BOS ($6,900): Adams has shown he has significant upside, scoring at least 42 DraftKings points in three of his last five games. The Thunder don't have much depth up front, which leaves Adams with all the minutes he can handle most nights. The Celtics are not a great rebounding team, so Adams might be in store for a big night on the boards. If you don't want to pay up for Gobert, Adams is also a viable option.

Mike Muscala, ATL at UTA ($4,100): Muscala has played at least 21 minutes in four of his last five games, scoring at least 21 DraftKings points in all four of those contests. He could be in line for even more playing time Tuesday with John Collins (ankle) already ruled out. The Jazz will be missing Derrick Favors (knee) as well, which also makes things easier for Muscala. For a cheap center with upside, look no further.
