IMT (8-10) vs. DIG (8-10)

Immortals could've secured the sixth seed in playoffs before going 0-2 on the weekend, resulting in them having to win not just once but twice Monday if they want to make it into the playoffs, as the winner of this game moves into the second tiebreaker for the sixth seed against Golden Guardians. Before the season, both of these teams were thought to have the worst rosters in the league, so even at 8-10 they've exceeded expectations by having a shot at the playoffs. I'm siding with Dignitas here after a 2-0 weekend earned them the right to play for a playoff spot, but I expect them to be chalky. Either side can be in play here in what essentially amounts to a coin flip. From the DIG side, Froggen and Johnsun have been the main carries for the team all season, while consideration for Immortals rests on the shoulders of Xmithie's veteran jungle presence and Apollo, who has played well since earning the starting AD Carry role. Eika has been the weak spot all season for Immortals, and since he's going up against Dignitas' best performing player, I think the mid lane difference is what pushes DIG into the next round.

Predicition: DIG win

IMT Players to Target: sOAZ ($5,400), Xmithie ($6,400), Apollo ($7,600), IMT Team ($4,800)

FLY (10-8) vs. 100 (10-8)

FlyQuest screwed a lot of people Sunday by bringing V1per back to start over Solo, without announcing the change before lineup lock. After losing to Golden Guardians and failing to clinch the second seed, will they put Solo, who had been outperforming V1per the last few games, back in to face 100 Thieves? Unless we get confirmation ahead of the slate, it's a risk playing either FLY top laner, in what isn't a good lane matchup against Ssumday anyway. The winner of this game goes on to face Evil Geniuses, with the winner of that game earning the second seed for playoffs. This is another coin flip matchup with pretty even lane matchups across the board, with the only major advantage on either side being Ssumday in the top lane and Ignar in the bottom lane, as Stunt has arguably been the worst-performing support in the league. I'm expecting  Solo to start, as he can play the weak side of the map and absorb pressure in the top lane while focusing on frontlining in team fights to allow WildTurtle and PowerOfEvil to carry. The issue is we likely won't know who's starting before lineup lock, especially with this being the second game on the slate.

Prediction: FLY win

FLY Players to Target: PowerOfEvil ($7,400), WildTurtle ($7,200), Ignar ($4,800), FLY Team ($4,600)

100 Players to Target: Ssumday ($6,400), Ryoma ($7,600), CodySun ($7,800), 100 Team ($5,200)
