30 disposals in Prelim loss

September 10, 2021
Dangerfield logged 30 disposals (19 kicks, 11 handballs) and made four tackles during Friday's 125-42 loss to Melbourne.
ANALYSIS
Dangerfield managed to reach 30 disposals for the first time in four games but it wasn't enough as the Cats' star forwards struggled to make a dent in the defense or the increasingly lopsided scoreline. By only playing 16 times this season, Dangerfield made less appearances than in the pandemic-shortened 2020 campaign, so he'll need to improve more in 2022 on what were decent numbers with 23.2 disposals and 4.4 marks per game.

Dangerfield (hand) will play in Friday's semi-final match versus the Giants, David McPherson of the Cats' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
There was some concern surrounding Dangerfield when it was learned that he played through a fractured right hand, but the fact that he was able to do so last round seemed to bode well for his chances of playing again Friday. He will indeed keep his spot in the team's lineup.

Dangerfield scored one goal and one behind to go with 31 disposal (18 kick, 13 handballs) in addition to making six tackles and six marks during Saturday's 85-71 win over St Kilda in Round 22.
ANALYSIS
Dangerfield confirmed the final result with a late mark and score that put the Cats on the top of the ladder heading into the last round before the finals. Major fantasy efforts like this haven't always been the norm with Dangerfield, but the right matchup can make all the difference, and especially if he can stay healthy.
Good to go for Round 22

August 11, 2021
Dangerfield (throat) is expected to play in Round 22 versus St. Kilda, per AFL Ratings.
ANALYSIS
Dangerfield suffered the injury as the result of a high hit from the Giants' Toby Greene in Round 21. The 31-year-old Dangerfield was initially listed as a test for Round 22, but it appears he's checked out well and will be able to play. He's topped 100 fantasy points in three of his last six matches, which makes him an intriguing option in the last two weeks of the home-and-away season.
