Facing a debuting opponent in Gaziev, Buday never got a chance to employ his theoretical cardio advantage because he was on the retreat the second the opening bell rang. He landed just eight significant strikes in a bout that lasted nearly six minutes. Buday won each of his first four UFC fights, but all of those came against lower-end competition (Chris Barnett, Lukasz Brzeski, Jake Collier, Josh Parisian). If this is a sign of what's to come against better opposition, the 32-year-old is in a world of trouble moving forward.
