Langhamer received a qualifying offer from the Coyotes on Monday, NHL.com reports.

In other words, the Coyotes get to keep exclusive negotiating rights with the pending restricted free agent through the signing period. Still, Langhamer -- who has only appeared in two NHL games since being selected in the seventh round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft -- is definitely not a threat to cut into Antti Raanta's job as the No. 1 backstop in Arizona.

Langhamer appeared in one NHL game in each of the past two seasons, but he was tendered a qualifying from the Coyotes in June, which shows that the team is vested in his development. Last season, he headed home to his native Czech Republic and thrived to the tune of a 6-3-0 record, 1.96 GAA and .924 save percentage. Still, Langhamer will only be worth checking out in fantasy leagues if something were to beset No. 1 goalie Antti Raanta or Darcy Kuemper.
