Luke Goedeke
25-Year-Old
May move to right tackle
Goedeke could move to right tackle this offseason, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Stroud reported that Tristan Wirfs would be moving from right to left tackle after Tampa Bay didn't address the position during the 2023 NFL Draft. He indicated that Goedeke, who started at left guard as a rookie in 2022 but played right tackle in college, would be a prime option to replace Wirfs on the right side if the two-time Pro Bowler did make the position change.

The Patriots' post-Tom Brady era hasn't gone swimmingly, so the same fate may befall the Buccaneers. Still, with WRs Mike Evans and Chris Godwin on hand, Brady's replacement should have it easier in Tampa Bay.

Could land starting job
Goedeke is the most likely candidate to take over as the Buccaneers' starting right tackle if Tristan Wirfs gets shifted to left tackle, Kevin Patra of NFL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
A second-round pick in 2022, Goedeke played 11 games at left guard as a rookie, but he was a right tackle in college and should be able to make the transition without too many issues. However, Tampa Bay hasn't yet committed to shifting Wirfs, a two-time Pro Bowler at right tackle, across the line after the team released Donovan Smith in March.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Goedeke graded out well as a second-round rookie in 2022 while starting at left guard over 11 games, a position he was unfamiliar with in college. The second-year pro now projects to return to the right tackle position he excelled in at Central Michigan as a result of Tristan Wirfs moving across the line to left tackle.
