DraftKings NBA: Monday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Monday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

After a quiet Sunday that featured only three games, the NBA is rolling again Monday with eight games on the schedule. The highlight of the evening features the Memphis Grizzlies taking on the Houston Rockets. Let's dig into the schedule and see where the opportunities are for you to end the night a winner on DraftKings.

Guards

John Wall, WAS at DEN ($10,100): Wall has been great through two games this season, providing at least 26 points, three rebounds, eight assists and two blocks in both contests. That's a result of at least 48.8 DraftKings points in both games, justifying his hefty price tag. Look for him to dominate the Nuggets Monday.

Ben Simmons, PHI at DET ($7,700): Simmons has wasted no time making a name for himself in the NBA as he is averaging 15.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.0 steal per game. His three games have come against the Wizards, Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors, three of the best teams in the East. This is a more favorable matchup against the Pistons, making Simmons a valuable option yet again.

Dejounte Murray, SA vs. TOR ($5,100): Murray has thrived so far this season as the starting point guard for the Spurs, scoring at least 30.3 DraftKings points in both games they've played. He's only averaging 4.0 assists per game, but he did grab at least five rebounds and two steals in both games. At this cheap price with a safe workload, Murray should be considered for your entry.

Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL vs. CHA ($10,900): Giannis has steamrolled the league this season as he is averaging 38.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 2.7 steals and 0.7 blocks per game. He's dominated games on both ends of the floor and has benefited greatly by being the sole superstar on his team. It's difficult fitting a player with this price into your lineup, but Giannis makes it worth by averaging 63.8 DraftKings points per game.

James Johnson, MIA vs. ATL ($6,300): Johnson is an underrated player who can contribute on both ends of the floor. He's off to a great start this season, scoring at least 30.0 DraftKings points in both games. While it's going to be hard for him to keep up his average of 8.0 assists per game, he provides enough all around production to be in your lineup Monday.

Dion Waiters, MIA vs. ATL ($5,600): Waiters is playing through an ankle injury, but it didn't slow him down Saturday against the Indiana Pacers, as he scored 19 points in 33 minutes. The Heat need him to score and he has been happy to oblige, taking at least 16 shots in both games this season. That's a recipe for success Monday against a Hawks team that is allowing an average of 112 points per game.

Centers

LaMarcus Aldridge, SA vs. TOR ($8,500): The Spurs are leaning on Aldridge to carry them at the start of this season with Kawhi Leonard (quad) out of action. He has not disappointed, averaging 26.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 blocks per game. Leonard will be out again Monday, so look for a revitalized Aldridge to have another big evening.

Dwight Howard, CHA at MIL ($6,700): Howard's early returns in Charlotte have been positive as he is averaging 15.0 points, 15.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. He's averaging 32 minutes per game and should continue to be one of the focal points of the team, especially with Nicolas Batum (elbow) out of action. He presents a nice mid-tier priced option Monday.

Alex Len, PHO vs. SAC ($4,100): Len is coming off of his best game this season as he scored 15 points to go along with seven rebounds, two assists and one block Saturday against the Los Angeles Clippers. The key was he played 24 minutes against a big front line. He faces a Kings frontcourt that also has plenty of size Monday. At this cheap price, Len is worth the risk in tournament contests.
