PITCHER

Jose Quintana, CHC vs. STL ($45): No team has been more inept against lefties on the road over the last month than the Cardinals, as evidenced by their majors-low .210 wOBA versus that handedness during that stretch, and a 27.7 percent strikeout rate that also ranks in the bottom five for that period. Quintana was impressive in his Cubs debut against the Orioles, amassing 46.3 fantasy points, and he has more than 20.0 fantasy points in five of his last six starts.

Ty Blach, SF vs. SD ($26): The Padres have a 23.7 percent strikeout rate against lefties on the road in the last month, while Blach has three straight quality starts and already scored 18.5 fantasy points against this same squad earlier in the season on the strength of seven scoreless innings. Blach has the advantage of his spacious home park as well, where he's allowed just a .290 wOBA and two home runs over 58 innings this season.

CATCHER

Gary Sanchez, NYY at SEA ($18): The Mariners will trot out Yovani Gallardo for a spot start Sunday, and while he's put together some solid outings in long relief lately, he still struggles against right-handed hitters. Enter Sanchez, who'll bat cleanup and has a .372 wOBA, .214 ISO and 37.9 percent hard contact rate on the road against righties. Gallardo has allowed a .377 wOBA and 5.10 xFIP to right-handed hitters, along with a 22.2 percent HR/FB rate and 35.1 percent hard contact rate against them at home.

FIRST BASE

Anthony Rizzo, CHC vs. STL ($20): Rizzo's successful history against Cardinals starter Michael Wacha includes a .484 batting average, three homers and six RBI over 32 plate appearances. The biggest hole in Wacha's game this season has been lefty bats on the road, as he's allowed a .343 wOBA, 4.86 xFIP and 33.3 percent hard contact rate over a 76-batter sample. Rizzo has slugged 14 of his 23 homers off righties and has a .407 wOBA, .217 ISO and 34.7 percent hard contact rate versus that handedness at Wrigley Field. Cardinals relievers also have a 6.48 ERA and have allowed a .336 wOBA to left-handed hitters on the road in the past month.

SECOND BASE

Joe Panik, SF vs. SD ($15): Padres rookie starter Dinelson Lamet has given up a .427 wOBA, 5.39 xFIP and 38.9 percent hard contact rate against left-handed hitters on the road, and Panik serves as a good way to get some inexpensive exposure to a lefty bat on the Giants. He's posted a .314 wOBA against right-handed pitching overall and also draws a good matchup against the Padres bullpen, which has a 4.97 ERA and has allowed 11 extra-base hits (six doubles, five home runs) to the 100 left-handed hitters they've faced on the road in the last month.

THIRD BASE

Nolan Arenado, COL vs. PIT ($25): While Pirates starter Ivan Nova has been very tough on right-handed hitters this season, Arenado is on a tear in July, posting a .505 wOBA and .397 ISO over 67 plate appearances. He also has a .379 wOBA, .286 ISO and 33.6 percent hard contact rate versus righties at Coors Field, and three hits, including a homer, along with four RBI against Nova in just five plate appearances. Nova has a 4.34 ERA and has allowed a .340 wOBA (including five homers) in 18.1 innings across three July starts, while the Pirates bullpen has allowed a .334 wOBA to right-handed hitters on the road in the last month.

SHORTSTOP

Corey Seager, LAD vs. ATL ($21): Braves rookie southpaw Sean Newcomb has impressed at times but has allowed a .365 wOBA to same-handed hitters. Additionally, while he's been stingy with the long ball, Newcomb has allowed a 36.4 percent line drive rate to lefty bats, leading to a .318 BAA over a 49-batter sample. Seager has actually enjoyed more success versus lefties, posting a .402 wOBA, .240 ISO and 46.7 percent hard contact rate against that handedness.

OUTFIELD

David Peralta, ARI vs. WAS ($18): Nationals starter Stephen Strasburg is not a pitcher to normally pick on, but he's struggled at times this season, particularly in warmer weather. He's also had a difficult time with Peralta, who's posted a .667 batting average, including a home run, in seven plate appearances. Peralta has a .399 wOBA, .232 ISO and 41.1 percent hard contact rate versus right-handed pitching at home, and a .417 wOBA over 55 plate appearances in July. Furthermore, the Nationals' bullpen has allowed a .359 wOBA to lefty bats on the road in the last month.

Andrew Benintendi, BOS at LAA ($16): Angels rookie starter Parker Bridwell has allowed a .364 wOBA to left-handed hitters at home, along with a 5.56 xFIP and 34.9 percent hard contact rate overall. Benintendi has a .358 wOBA, .215 ISO and 38.9 percent hard contact rate against righties away from Fenway, and all 12 of his homers this season have also come off that handedness.

Robbie Grossman, MIN vs. DET ($13): The switch-hitting Grossman has a .343 wOBA and 38.7 percent hard contact rate versus southpaws, while Tigers starter Matt Boyd has allowed a .371 wOBA, 5.40 xFIP and 42.9 percent hard contact rate to right-handed hitters. Grossman also has a .500 batting average, two homers and four RBI against Boyd in 14 plate appearances.
