Pitcher
Rich Hill, LOS vs. ATL ($9,200): Given Hill's current form, that he isn't the top-priced pitcher Saturday qualifies him as a bargain by itself. Hill has allowed one run or less in three straight starts, and in five of his last seven. He's stuck out 44 over his last 31.0 innings while walking only six. The Braves offer a mid-tier offense against lefties, owning a .320 wOBA and 93 wRC+, and just a .161 ISO, suggesting Hill can again at least limit damage, with the clear promise for more.
Catcher
Evan Gattis, HOU at BAL ($2,800): This game comes with a total of 11, so finding some secondary options in the lineup could provide a solid return. Gattis has a .402 wOBA, 158 wRC+ and .295 ISO on the road against same-handed pitchers. Gattis' last six point totals read as 34.4, 3.0, 41.4, 3.0, 37.4, 3.0, suggesting if you're a trend player, he's due for another explosion Saturday against Christ Tillman and his 7.20 ERA.
First Base
Yonder Alonso, OAK at NYM ($3,200): Alonzo has fared well against opposite-handed pitchers on the road, owning a .369 wOBA and 136 wRC+. But the play here may be more against Mets' pitcher Zack Wheeler, who has allowed 13 earned runs over his last 17.0 innings and is allowing a .375 wOBA to lefties at home.
Second Base
Jonathan Schoop, BAL vs. HOU ($3,500): Schoop entered Friday with a .363 wOBA and 126 wRC+ against righties, second on the team, which alone makes him an appealing option. That he has driven in 13 runs and has multiple hits in four straight games adds to the allure. Houston is set to run Collin McHugh to the hill for his season debut. He had a 4.95 ERA on the road last year, allowing a .331 wOBA to righties, and only threw 69 pitches in his last rehab start, making it unlikely he works deep into the contest. Houston's bullpen has a 4.01 ERA, which should only allow Schoop additional opportunities.
Third Base
Colin Moran, HOU at BAL ($2,000): There's clearly no risk at this price, but you'll obviously need to confirm Moran's presence in the lineup, even if he's hitting ninth. He went 2-for-4 Friday in his season debut, including a long ball, and appeared to find his power stroke in Triple-A, launching 18 homers in 79 games. Tillman is allowing a .417 wOBA to lefties to go along with a .955 OPS. If Moran doesn't draw the start, Cincinnati's Eugenio Suarez ($3,100) makes for a nice replacement.
Shortstop
Jordy Mercer, PIT at COL (3,500): The price is a bit high for my liking, but this is a position where the usual top two players are on the DL, and there's little upside staring managers in the face otherwise. Mercer is 16-for-50 (.320) since 2014 at Coors Field, hitting his first homer there Friday. He's hit righties better this season, owning a .333 wOBA and 105 wRC+ (compared to .276/68 against lefties) entering a matchup with German Marquez, who has allowed at least three runs in four straight starts. This matchup has the highest total on the board Saturday at 12.
Outfield
Gerardo Parra, COL vs. PIT ($3,900): Parra has only two games in July where he's failed to produce at least 9.5 fantasy points. He's batting .436 at home, where he carries a .449 wOBA, 161 wRC+ and 1.072 OPS. He's $1,200 cheaper than Charlie Blackmon, and offers nearly as much potential against Chad Kuhl, who is allowing a .387 wOBA to lefties.
Christian Yelich, MIA at CIN ($3,500): There may not be a bad play among Marlin outfielders, as they hit 2-3-4 in the order, all offer plus splits against righties and all come in good form entering Saturday. Yelich gets listed here as the cheapest of the three. He carried a .380 wOBA, 134 wRC+ and .220 ISO against righties since July 1 heading into Thursday. Reds starter Robert Stephenson allowed 22 earned runs over 24.2 relief innings before being demoted in May, surrendering a .453 wOBA and 1.089 OPS to opposite-handed bats.
Adam Duvall, CIN vs. MIA ($3,300): This game comes with a total of 11, and we touched on Stephenson's struggles above. Miami trots out rookie Chris O'Grady, who has allowed six runs in his first 10.1 career innings. Duvall is just 2-for-20 over his last five games and has only one homer in July, but he still carries a .426 wOBA, 161 wRC+ and .354 ISO at home against lefties, his highest totals across four splits.
